Early in his career, he worked with CPA firms specializing in small and mid-sized businesses. Later, he worked in industry as a Controller and Director of Finance for rapidly-growing businesses. As such, he understands the needs of business owners and operators - to have timely, accurate information, and to take advantage of all the tax savings available in the law. Marc takes pride in his ability to take care of the numbers and the taxes, leaving the business owner free to grow the business. Marc formed Sexton & Schnoll to provide top-quality accounting and tax services to Gainesville and throughout Florida.

Marc constantly works to broaden and refresh his skills, as he is enrolled in the Master's of Accountancy program at the University of Florida, one of the Top 10 Accounting schools in the nation. He holds CPA licenses in both Florida and Wisconsin. Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and he holds a Florida Real Estate Broker's license.
