Audit and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities include: leading the audit and accounting staff; managing a small, but growing, portfolio of audit engagements; seeking new audit business; and supervising the client accounting function which involves managing employee workloads and reviewing client bookkeeping and accounting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting at an accredited higher education institution required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Must hold a current CPA license in the U.S. and have the educational requirements to obtain certification in Florida.
  • Minimum of 5 years of public accounting audit experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Advanced QuickBooks skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with a cloud-based work environment.
  • Proficient with Zoom, BombBomb, or similar.
  • Proficient with Karbon or other workflow management software

ABOUT OUR FIRM

We are technology-focused and have been paperless since 2005 as well as supporting remote work for over a decade. When the pandemic hit, our operations didn't miss a beat. We have not only survived, but thrived in this environment. This is a new position.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $80,000, but considerably higher salaries are possible dependent on qualifications and experience. Bonus and incentive pay structures are available as a supplement to salary.
